Privacy Policy

At Mr. Robot Help, we believe that your data belongs to you. Our mission is to provide powerful media tools that respect your digital sovereignty. This Privacy Policy outlines exactly how we handle information and our commitment to absolute transparency.

1. Introduction

Welcome to Mr. Robot Help ("we," "our," or "us"). We operate the website located at mrrobot.help. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service and the choices you have associated with that data.

By using our Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. Unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy, terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions.

2. The "Client-Side" Revolution

The most important thing to understand about Mr. Robot Help is our technical architecture. Traditional online video and image tools are "Server-Side," meaning they require you to upload your files to their remote computers.

We are 100% Client-Side. When you use our Video Editor, Image Compressor, or PDF Tools, your files are processed directly in your browser's memory. We utilize technologies like WebAssembly (Wasm) and FFmpeg.wasm to bring the processing power to you.

Because of this, we NEVER see, store, or transmit your media files. Your personal photos, private videos, and sensitive documents stay on your device at all times.

3. Information Collection and Use

While we don't touch your files, we do collect a few limited types of information to provide and improve our Service to you.

Personal Data

While using our Service, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you ("Personal Data"). Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to:

  • Email address (only if you contact us via support)
  • Usage Data (IP address, browser type, pages visited)
  • Cookies and Usage Data

4. Cookies and Tracking Data

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track the activity on our Service and hold certain information. Cookies are files with a small amount of data which may include an anonymous unique identifier.

Examples of Cookies we use:

  • Session Cookies: We use Session Cookies to operate our Service.
  • Preference Cookies: We use Preference Cookies to remember your settings (like dark mode or volume settings in games).
  • Security Cookies: We use Security Cookies for security purposes.
  • Advertising Cookies: These are used to serve you with advertisements that may be relevant to you and your interests.

5. Third-Party Advertising (Google AdSense & Others)

We use third-party advertising companies to serve ads when you visit our Website. These companies may use information (not including your name, address, email address, or telephone number) about your visits to this and other Web sites in order to provide advertisements about goods and services of interest to you.

Google AdSense: Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on our site. Google's use of the DART cookie enables it to serve ads to our users based on their visit to our site and other sites on the Internet. Users may opt out of the use of the DART cookie by visiting the Google ad and content network privacy policy.

You can also manage your ad preferences via the Google Ads Settings page.

6. Third-Party Game Providers

Our Arcade section includes games from partners like GamePix and GameMonetize. When you play these games, the third-party provider may collect data such as your IP address, device information, and gameplay statistics.

These third parties have their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them. We do not have control over the data collected by these external game frames.

7. Data Security

The security of your data is important to us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

However, our "Client-Side First" approach is the ultimate security feature: since we don't store your primary media files, they cannot be stolen from us.

8. Your Data Protection Rights Under GDPR

If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA), you have certain data protection rights. Mr. Robot Help aims to take reasonable steps to allow you to correct, amend, delete, or limit the use of your Personal Data.

In certain circumstances, you have the following data protection rights:

  • The right to access, update or delete the information we have on you.
  • The right of rectification.
  • The right to object.
  • The right of restriction.
  • The right to data portability.
  • The right to withdraw consent.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.

You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
