How to Play Along (Two Minutes That Double Learning)
Say the sound, not the name: when A appears, make the "ah" sound together before tapping APPLE — letter names come later, sounds come first in reading. Stretch the word: "d-o-g, dog!" turns each correct tap into a mini blending lesson. Let them wrong-tap: nothing bad happens on a miss, so resist correcting instantly; self-correction builds stronger memory than being told.
